Our monthly general meetings are held at the Olinda Community House, next door to the Olinda Swimming Pool in the Olinda-Monbulk Road.

NEXT GENERAL MEETING: WEDNESDAY 8th OCTOBER

Arrive from 9.30am to be ready for 10am start to the meeting.

Our guest speaker will be Anita Walker from Sherbrooke Foothills Historical Society. She will talk about the Mystery of Jack the Miner, and other local history.

To celebrate Senior's Month and Probus Month in October, we're going to have a 

GRAND AFTERNOON TEA PARTY.

Singularity Choir will be performing a short version of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Iolanthe", and we're having it catered, so we don't have to do any work, just enjoy the fairies tripping hither, tripping thither, nobody knows why or whither.

Assuming the grant application is approved, this will be FREE. 

Bring your friends, especially if they're potential members!

Friday 31st October: Broughton Hall, Jindivik.

This spectacular parterre garden overlooks the Tarago Reservoir. We will car pool from the Olinda Community House car park at 9am.

Coffee on arrival, then a guided tour of the garden and the rare plant nursery. Lunch will be provided by Apple Spice Catering.

Cost: $50 includes tour and lunch.

Friday 28th November: Mount Macedon Olives.

Visit to a spectacular private olive plantation at Mount Macedon. You can purchase your olive oil on the day, or pre-purchase via the website. Lunch at the top of Mount Macedon.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at Mountain Ash Yarnery (Unit 6/540 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road. Olinda) at 2pm.

Bring your latest piece of knitting or crocheting of spare wool and needles. Bring a gold coin for coffee and tea.
